Greetings!
I hope everyone has been enjoying our beautiful weather! I can’t believe how fast the time is going and that we are already writing the November newsletter. The October luncheon was a lot of fun and I would like to thank Nerissa and Cindy from the HAWC who came and provided us wonderful information on fitness and nutrition. We are coming into a busy time of year. Cookie Crunch will be upon us soon. Sarah Hargis has graciously offered to coordinate it this year. She is currently working on setting the dates so please watch for more information or contact her at texanfler@cox.net We will be in great need of cookies to give out to our D-M Airmen. We will also be decorating the club and preparing for our fundraiser in December, BX Gift Wrapping. I hope you will plan on helping us at these events. We are also still recruiting for Gala. We need a Gala Chair and also Gala Committee Members. Please contact CeCe Perry if you can participate. Remember, Gala is how we raise the bulk of our Charitable monies, especially for Scholarships. I hope to see you all at our November function!

Our menu this month will be: Baby greens with pomegranate seeds and spiced pecans, herbed turkey cutlets with cranberry sauce and polenta Dessert will be caramel apple pudding. The vegetarian option is Chef Salad .
This month is our Thrift Shop Fashion Show. This is always a hit and we hope you will be able to join us as we see what our Thrift Shop has to offer!

COOKIE CRUNCH!
Davis Monthan's Annual Cookie Crunch is under way. We are in need of 1500 dozen cookies for this year's drive. The homemade holiday cookies will be distributed to airmen and organizations basewide. We will also be delivering cookies to the VA Hospital with a healthy dose of holiday cheer. Cookies may be dropped off at the Hope Chapel starting Monday, December 8th and from 0600-1900 hours. More details to follow.
GIFT WRAPPING TIME IS HERE!
The dates for the DMOSC to gift wrap in the BX are:
Saturday, December 13th to Saturday, December 20th.
